Final rites for Berty Premalal Dissanayake...

The final rites for late Berty Premalal Dissanayake the former Chief Minister of the North Central Province, was held on Monday morning at the Walisinghe Harischandra Park in Anuradhapura.

A large gathering including politicians arrived today as well to pay their last respects to the remains of late Berty Premalal Dissanayake. The remains of the former Chief Minister of North Central Province was taken to the Walisinghe Harischandra Park at around 2 p.m. on Monday for the final rites.

Minister of Education Services, Duminda Dissanayake who is the son of Berty Premalal Dissanayake, delivered words of gratitude. Thereafter, the cremation took place.
