Mortars discovered in Dehiattakandiya...

Several mortars have been discovered in close proximity to the Muwagammana reserve in Dehiattakandiya

According to the Police Media Spokesperson's Office the mortars were discovered yesterday.
The mortars were discovered based on a tip-off received by residents.

The Police Media Spokesperson's Office noted that seven mortar

bombs were discovered at the location adding that steps will be taken to destroy the mortars with the assistance of the Aralaganvila Special Task Force after obtaining clearance from the Dehiattakandiya Magistrate.
