Ven. Maduluwawe Sobitha Thera, Chairman of the steering committee of the People's Movement for Social Justice, reiterates that the upcoming elections can be used to create an ethical society and righteous governance.
Issuing a communique, the Thero believes that measures will be taken to ensure that the elections will be held in a fair and law-abiding manner.
Ven. Maduluwawe Sobitha Thera says that the representative elected by voters should be a wise person of clean character. The Thero emphasizes that he will not cast his vote
for persons with anti-social behaviour.
Ven. Maduluwawe Sobitha Thero points out to all those who hope for a just society, that if they do not fulfill their duties, a period of terror will dawn in the future.
