Yala National Sanctuary will re-open :- Wildlife Department says

The Department of Wildlife notes that the Yala National Sanctuary that was closed down will be re-opened. Minister Vijith Wijayamuni Soysa said that the Sanctuary will be opened to both the local and foreign tourists.
The Yala National Sanctuary was closed down for a period of one month from  September 1.
The sanctuary was closed down to allow animals move about freely around the reserve during the drought season.
